The approach
A quantitative approach targeting 150 senior decision makers in construction companies throughout Australia. The research benchmarked the evolution of the sector across three key areas; people, process and technology, setting up a framework that is tracked on an ongoing basis.

The challenge
As the first edition of a thought leadership program, we needed to find the right balance between content that was relevant to the sector at that point in time, and metrics that could be tracked on an ongoing basis. We worked closely with the client and selected external stakeholders to balance these dual objectives, setting the basis for a robust ongoing program of work.

The insight
The research delivered insights into current levels of sentiment in the construction sector, the key challenges facing businesses, and the strategies in place around people (e.g. diversity, female leadership), the evolution of technology platforms, and the adoption of emerging construction technologies (e.g. 3D printing, automation, advanced connectivity).
